The liguid preshaves I use are usually something like Lectric shave which is alcohol and oil based. I always fully clean and lubricate the shaver after use so long term effects are not a concern for me. I never use powder as it can increase the wear on the cutting edges. @Shaverman is 100%...

They are all universal voltage so will work world wide. You will probably need an adapter as the pin sizes on the plug will probably be different. The parts bought in europe are the same as those in the US. May be a cost difference and with the current state of the world.......there may be taxes...

I use it when I travel as it gives the option of either a wet or dry shave. The most difficult decision is .....how much to use! Less seems to be better. Somersets is one of the oils I use and it is good but.........it no longer seems to refer to electric shaving on it's website!

Question is as above. While I like using my wet shaving soaps for wet electric Shaving.....I also find Shaving oil to be very effective for both dry and wet shaving. Does anyone else care to share their experience?
