Braun Series 9 Pro+ 9577cc

Hey all,

I am looking at getting the Braun Series 9 Pro+. Is the 9577cc the one to get or does it matter as long as the shaver is a part of the Braun Series 9 Pro+ series? Thanks! Good to see the board back.

rokufan, welcome aboard. As with any electric razor in a particular series, all the models will shave identically. The differences, of course, are in the bells and whistles. Some configurations (like the aforementioned Braun Series 9 Pro+ 9577cc) come with a power travel case. Others come with a regular travel case. Some come with a ProComfort head attachment. The most complete configuration I have seen (with all the bells and whistles) can be seen here.

Keep us posted as to the configuration you end up buying and post a review. As a head shaver since 2020, I am intrigued by the ability of this electric razor to cut through several days of hair growth. I will likely buy one myself.

Also, as an update, I just bought the Braun Series 9 Pro+ 9567cc from Amazon. I'll let you know my first impressions once I try it.

Currently using an Arc 5 as a daily driver. Thinking about a Braun Series 9 Pro + as the Arc is getting old.

I think around 5 years although I only used it intermittently. I was a decades long DE daily shaver. Getting tired of the ritual and find my shaves are just as good with the Arc. Looking at getting the Braun just to have the latest and greatest. Not interested in the Arc 6.

Perfect. Yes, the latest Braun works well for me, especially on my head.
