I'm tony & i am wondering - where can i call to get an older model razor from remington?
I ask because i've been online looking & have left messages to various places, but no reply just yet.
Can anyone offer assistance?
Thank you!

Hi Tony: The email Jim gave may help in identifying older models that are still sold by Remington. I know some older models and discontinued models also occasionally show up on Amazon as certain dealers have older stock items.

For me, I've obtained many, new, vintage Remingtons from eBay, but you need to be careful. Some are still new and wrapped, but others are "Open Box" and may or may not have been tried. Classic older Remingtons like the XLR, DA, and DF series are frequently available, often factory sealed, so are brand new. My caution, though, is that if you buy a rechargeable, battery shaver (any brand) as opposed to a cord-only shaver, if the shaver is vintage (roughly 25-35 years old), the battery may no longer be workable, making the purchase a potentially risky investment.

Many of the "older" shavers are pure electric, not battery, so they would almost certainly be workable out of the package. Good luck.

I don't have a number for you to call, but try emailing contactus@remingtonproducts.com Welcome aboard, Tony.
Thanks a bunch Jim!
i've emailed them & am hoping for a reply.

My mother - who was not very wealthy at all - gave me one as a gift years ago, before she passed. Turns out that it was the best shaver for me!
So now it's old & falling apart quickly. I will probably order 2 if they allow!

God bless, Sir!

Hopefully you are successful in your search. I used to be Remington through and through but I have had problems sourcing replacement parts for a few years now even for new models. They seem to come and go very quickly. Also when you consider that the newer models appear to be just rebadged models which have been manufactured in the far east.....I find it difficult to justify paying a premium price.
