I realise that some of you are still working and that dry shaving with an electric razor saves time in the morning. This post is for those of you who are retired or have the additional time on non-workdays to enjoy the best shave possible. I find the following method is even better than using a pre-electric shave ie: Williams, Speick, etc.
Wet your face and neck with hot water.
Wash your face and neck with soap. This will remove any dirt, oil, etc. and prepare your beard.
Rinse your face and neck with hot water.
Hand lather and apply a brushless shave cream ie: Cremo, Cella Rapida, etc. and add more water if necessary. I have found that brushless shave cream works better than traditional soaps and shave sticks. You want a very wet and thin lather.
Shave as usual (Wet/Dry shavers only!) Add a bit more water to your face and neck during the shave if needed and rinse the foils/cutters with hot water often.
Enjoy!
