Hello Nick,
I believe that the SH90 heads have been replaced by the SH91 heads (https://www.documents.philips.com/assets/20220603/f6d1b3c673c84149be6eaea90184609d.pdf). If you are happy with the shaves from the 9700 then I would keep it and replace the heads. A new razor every couple of years...
It was released on the AliExpress site today. It costs quite a bit more than originally quoted ($US77) in the lead up article. It will cost me $US138 which is more than I am willing to spend at this time.
I am sure that the cost will decrease over the coming months.

Kemei KM-1102
Excellent dual foil + pop-up trimmer shaver. Small (120mm x 62mm x 33mm) and lightweight (147g) makes for a great travel razor. Charged via a dedicated USB cable (not USB-C). Waterproof rating varies depending upon the seller. I have seen it rated as ipx4, ipx5 and ipx7. I treat...
My VGR-362 is excellent and came with a spare foil. I never buy spare foils/blades because in a few years (or less) VGR, Kemei, etc., will have inexpensive razors that are "NEW and IMPROVED". :)
G'day Brian,

Cheers,
Phil

This is the only rotary shaver that I currently own and I have been using it for eight days. It was a post-Good Friday/pre-Christmas Day sale that I just could not pass up. Using a rotary is a whole different thing from using a foil shaver. My first shave...
This is the VGR V-306 Electric Rotary Shaver. I used it for three days and it is now in transit to Aliexpress. The shave wasn't very close and it seemed to drag (as opposed to glide) across my skin, even when using shave cream. It does have an ipx7 waterproof rating, charges in 1.5 hours (USB-C)...
Announced a couple of days ago and currently released for testing in China. From everything that I have read, it looks to be a i9000 Prestige Ultra clone that will most likely sell on the Aliexpress site for under $US100. Please be advised that their "95 day battery life" is based on using the...
I realise that some of you are still working and that dry shaving with an electric razor saves time in the morning. This post is for those of you who are retired or have the additional time on non-workdays to enjoy the best shave possible. I find the following method is even better than using a...
