Email from Mercury: Basically, the whole inner workings of the razor have been replaced. I asked Mercury if water had gotten inside the razor, as I suspect. Once they reply, I'll post back. Still, very disappointing performance from the Braun 9465cc. I just bought it in April.

Saturday, July 27, 2024 Remington PF7855 (head shave) Osage Rub Good shave, but not as smooth as the Braun. Still, though, there was no stinging when I applied the Osage Rub. I have to charge the Remington now.

Update: I returned the Braun to Mercury Shaver Centre for repair or replacement. Given my prior bad experience with them detailed here, hopefully they give me a better customer service experience this time.
