Anyone else's razor performance drop in winter?

Not sure if I'm crazy...but I swear my Panasonic Arc3 doesn't work as well in winter months...like the shave isn't as close...and it takes longer...
Maybe it's just my skin being drier in winter?...or the cold air affecting something?...I dunno...but I've noticed this pattern for two years now...
My shaving routine hasn't changed...same technique...same frequency...but every winter it feels like the razor struggles more...and by spring it's back to normal...
Is this a real thing or am I imagining it?...does temperature or humidity actually affect electric razor performance?...or is it just my skin reacting differently to the cold?...
Anyone else notice seasonal differences?...

Well, Derek, the climate you're in might impact your skin. For me, the hot dry desert heat here makes shaving fairly easy at home, but at the gym, I have to use powder stick to reduce the humidity, which can cause a shaver to drag. Don't know if this is true, but one shaver expert I read said colder weather can tighten the pores on your skin, perhaps restricting whiskers from fully emerging, thus not as close a shave. I know I can shave easily and closely at home, but at the gym, the humidity, even with powder stick, seems to take longer and not as close. So if your skin is tighter in cooler weather and you also are susceptible to humidity, those two elements might have an impact. Outside the gym, our weather is dry and never really cold so that could make a difference for me, but if you're shaving in your own home, it's likely not really cold but you may have more humidity in your house from rain, snow, etc.
