Does anyone else get annoyed by the constant new model releases

I bought a Braun Series 9 like two years ago and spent a lot of money on it because it was supposed to be their top of the line model and the best they offered and now they've released the Series 9 Pro and the Series 9 Pro Plus and apparently there's going to be another new version coming out soon and it feels like these companies are just constantly releasing new models to make you feel like what you bought is already outdated even though it still works perfectly fine and does everything I need it to do but now when I look online everyone is talking about the newer models and acting like the one I have is ancient technology even though it's only two years old and still shaves great and I understand that technology improves and companies need to innovate but it seems excessive to release a new flagship model every single year especially when the improvements are so minor that most people probably can't even tell the difference and it just creates this pressure to constantly upgrade even when there's no real reason to and I'm not going to fall for it and buy a new razor every time they release one but it's still annoying to feel like the expensive razor I bought is being treated as obsolete when it barely had time to break in properly and I wonder if other people feel the same way or if I'm just being unreasonable about this whole thing because maybe I'm too attached to the idea that an expensive purchase should last more than a couple years before the company moves on to the next thing

Connor, thanks for your post and welcome aboard. I wouldn't consider this to be Braun moving on to the next thing. Over a year ago, I bought a Braun Series 3 (310s). It was introduced in 2016. New models are introduced, but support for older models (i.e. replacement parts) doesn't cease. The 94M head used by all Braun Series 9 razors, of course, will fit yours, as well. They will be available for years to come. No need to upgrade for the foreseeable future.

To be honest I think many of the higher end 'upgrades' are mainly accessories and software upgrades. I do not need the ability to connect to an app an I personally think that beard density detectors are a bit of a gimmick!
