Does anyone use Shaving oil?

Question is as above. While I like using my wet shaving soaps for wet electric Shaving.....I also find Shaving oil to be very effective for both dry and wet shaving. Does anyone else care to share their experience?

I used it for a while. Somersets shaving oil was a sponsor of the old Electric Razor Rap back a few years ago. When using it with my Philishave HS555 razor, the oil caused the decorative discs on my shaving heads to come off, but that was merely a cosmetic issue. It didn't affect shave performance. In fact, it enhanced it. More frequent cleaning was necessary, which wasn't a big deal, and now with the waterproof razors, it's even easier. I've never tried shaving oil on any of my foil razors, though, but, again, clean-up would be easier since they're all waterproof.

I use it when I travel as it gives the option of either a wet or dry shave. The most difficult decision is .....how much to use! Less seems to be better.
Somersets is one of the oils I use and it is good but.........it no longer seems to refer to electric shaving on it's website!
