Excellent dual foil + pop-up trimmer shaver. Small (120mm x 62mm x 33mm) and lightweight (147g) makes for a great travel razor. Charged via a dedicated USB cable (not USB-C). Waterproof rating varies depending upon the seller. I have seen it rated as ipx4, ipx5 and ipx7. I treat it as if it is at the lower end (water resistant as opposed to waterproof). Can be used wet or dry and the foil and blades carefully cleaned under the tap. I find it very comfortable and it shaves nearly as close as my high-end daily shavers.

I have been using this one for a few days now. It has been a while and I had forgotton just how well it performs. I only ever use this one with an electric preshave lotion and it gives a really close shave. New purchases now have the option of a USB-C connector. The only niggle I have is the 8 hr charge time with a red light indicatiog connection with no colour change when fully charged.. The shaver still functions with the power connected. To clean I remove the cutters, brush the top of the razor,and ultrasonically clean the blades in soap and water.
 
The soap and water procedure you use is not only effective, but I think crucial considering that both pre-shave and post-shaving lubrication can leave oil that makes hair and skin residue a real issue. The soap and water make cutters and foils free of residue but very importantly, make shaver operation efficient. Manufacturers' recommendations to just "rinse with water" is only half the battle.
 
It's interesting how different razors work differently for each person. I've always said that what works well for one may not work well (or at all) for another. I wasn't too impressed with the KM-1102. This is why I recommend a person try multiple razors until they find one that works.

 
And with that said, admittedly, I only used the KM-1102 once for the above video, violating my own rule of always giving a new electric razor a full three-week trial before dismissing it. It may very well could have worked well for me had I given it a proper trial run.
