Philips hq3 equivalent?

I have recently purchased a few NOS vintage shavers, both Philishaves, a HQ3405 and a HS540. Am thinking about replacement blades for both and seems they both take hq3 blades. I also need to replace the cutters on my 10 year old hq5426 which apparently are hq4 type blades.

From looking at non-OEM parts the hq56 replacement equivalent are listed as compatible with the hq3, 4 and 5 shavers, but the only official Philips heads I can get are the hq56, would these fit in the older Philishaves or should I just order the non OEM parts?

There are hq3 blades available but they are stupidly expensive and very rare.

Well, Rmac, I am not familiar with those Philips' parts, but I would contact Philips to see what they would recommend in terms of truly compatible OEM parts. If they are no longer available through Philips, you could try eBay.

To me, and I suspect many on this site, non-OEM or aftermarket parts can be a risky, though cheaper, alternative. If availability of OEM parts is an issue however, you might have to accept the aftermarket, non-OEM, parts. They will likely be OK, but not as satisfactory as OEM.
