wtf is wrong with my face

ok this is probably the wrong place to ask but you guys seem to know about skin irritation and stuff. been using the same cheap remington for like 3 years and suddenly my face looks like hamburger meat after every shave. nothing changed in my routine. same soap same aftershave same everything. but now i look like i got attacked by an angry cat. is it the razor dying or am i doing something wrong?


thinking about getting a real electric razor instead of this $30 thing but dont want to waste money if im just screwing up technique or something. any ideas? this sucks.

Welcome aboard, Mike. Sorry to hear about the sudden irritation - that's really frustrating when nothing in your routine has changed. After three years, your Remington's cutting head is probably worn out. Dull blades will tug and pull at hair instead of cutting cleanly, which causes exactly the kind of irritation you're describing. Even cheap razors can work okay when new, but once the blades get dull, they become pretty harsh on your skin. The good news is you're probably not doing anything wrong technique-wise. Get a new foil/cutter set.
