Very interesting. When I regularly used a Philishave a few years back I used to periodically clean the heads in an ultrasonic bath with warm soapy water and then rinse and allow to air dry. I try to use what I have to hand...so if I want to sterilise my new 3000 Series with alcohol I would hope...

On the basis of this review....just ordered a 3000 series to see what it is like. I haven't used a Philishave for a very long time!

If yo can get some Alcolado Glacial (Jamaican made)....it's an effective and inexpensive equivalent.

It shaves well...but not as close as a foil. Disappointingly although sold on Amazon....the manual is Chinese only

There would appear to be more to Kemei than the 2024. I also have a 2026 with variable power. The 1102 and TX 10 are incoming. I will report when they arrive.

I must admit....I do like the retro look.of the 2024. I have a couple of extras inbound. It's actually cheaper to buy the new razor than replacement of the foils/cutters. It does shave rather well. The only bummer is the 8 hr charge

Looking forward to that. It will be good to see a considered opinion. A lot of reviews I see on razors are given by those who seem to have no understanding of pre and post shave care. At the moment I seem to be chasing quantity rather than quality....Perhaps some day!
